SCET’s MTI + NSF I-Corps = Win-Win

Congrats to our latest crop of NSF I-Corps Immersive Short grads!

This cohort was a joint effort with Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology’s (SCET) Management of Technology Innovation (MTI) class with grad students from across campus.  Upon completion of the  Immersive Short, students are now 2/3 of the way through the MTI class that will end in a demo day in early May, complete with cash prizes.

Student teams represented programs from multiple schools including,  the UCB-UCSF Masters of Translational Medicine (MTM), the Berkeley Haas School of Business, the Goldman School of Public Policy , UC Berkeley Fung Institute For Engineering Leadership and PhD students from UC Berkeley Colleges of Chemistry, Bioengineering and Mathematics

Best team quote of the night: I now understand who to contact, what to ask and how to conduct the interviews….I’ve also learned not to sell, but to really listen to their problems.

Special thanks to Instructor Chris DeNoia & TA Adeeba Khairzad for a super learning experience!
