University of Jammu has 200k students across 33 colleges.  And you thought Cal was large & in charge @ 41k! 🐻

The sheer scale of everything in India can be mind boggling. We’re thrilled to be working with Jammu + three of the other top 10 public universities to change how entrepreneurship education is delivered. 🇮🇳

Sponsored by PM Modi, the RUSA initiative is bringing faculty, administrators (like Jammu’s Vice Chancellor pictured) and students to UC Berkeley to observe our one week NSF I-Corps course. We’ll return the visit to train their trainers and top teams.  Proceeds from our work will be used to expand and extend the Node’s mission to train STEM innovators.

Special thanks to our colleagues at the UC Berkeley’s Institute for South Asia Studies and the Global Engagement Office for helping us max out the learning last week and prepare for the other visits. Also grateful for all of the folks who have stepped up to help out while Executive Director Rhonda Shrader continues to recover from knee surgery!

What can our one week NSF I-Corps do for your STEM innovation? Find out here and apply by 9/20 for our next course starting 10/7:
